Create a High-Performing TeamAt the level of the team, our services focus on the “who”—ensuring genuine, heart-felt engagement by all team members as they function as part of a group. In the past, organizations have held the false belief that people produce best under a carrot and stick approach, primarily relying on the carrot of rewards or (if that didn’t work) using the stick of punishment. While these approaches may be appropriate in certain circumstances, research has shown over and over that people tend to withhold their “discretionary effort” under these conditions. Most employees are able to perform sufficiently and gain acceptable performance reviews while they themselves report that they are only giving 75-80% of their potential effort. Why? Because they don’t really care about what they’re doing, they’re just going through the motions. For people to truly be engaged, they need to feel a part of something larger than themselves, and work under conditions in which they are valued and included. We find great joy in helping people create a work environment that not only is high-functioning and produces desired results, but that people enjoy being a part of when they come to work every day. Our team development services include team building and assessment, leadership development, diversity and inclusion, conflict resolution / mediation, and emotional intelligence. We also offer individual coaching with team members, in support of effective teams.
